I don't even know why I think a camera can capture the majesty or awe of last nights clouds.  The sun was setting and they were glowing.  It was a beautiful display to see!

10 1/2 bags later, I cleared the side of the house.  I started early and finished a little before 10 am when it was getting hot.  Now, if someone would come and get the weeds from the backyard . . . 

Weeds!

Yep!  This is the side of our house.  I have NO idea how it happens but seemingly overnight, weeds grow and fill in this space.  Some are as tall as I am!!  This is my project for tomorrow - to pull these weeds!  Wish me luck!

It's Hot!

As unsightly as this mass of metal and wires seems to be, I am so thankful today that I am not a pioneer and can enjoy the air conditioning in my house.  The mercury outside is registering in the 90s with temps over 100 in the next few days.  So I hang out in my house - blissfully cool because of this mass of metal!

Debt to Society

I was ticketed for going 35 mph two blocks into a 25 mph zone a few months ago.  After going to court (and needing to plead guilty), I was allowed to complete Traffic School rather than have this appear on my record.  Today I finished my on-line class and passed with 100% accuracy.  

You can all feel better about me being out on the road now!
