Grandma's Charm Bracelet

When I was at my parent's house, I got some of my grandma's jewelry.  One treasure is this charm bracelet.  I don't know anything about the history behind it but each charm had a little moving part - the accordion opens and closes, the lid on the ice cart opens, the wheels on the other cart revolve, etc!  With the cuckoo clock and little people in the house, I am guessing it's German.  Anyone know anything about this?

Tradition

Today DH and I went to watch the Senior Tour Play in Sunriver, OR!  We had passes to the Nike hospitality tent so after walking and watching the action on the front 9, we headed to the shade the tent provided (and the all you could eat buffet spread).  What a fun day in a BEAUTIFUL place!!!

First it's there and then it's gone!

You probably can't even tell what you're supposed to be looking at in these pictures but today I had my new retractable screen installed on our backdoor!  I am so happy with it!  You can't even see it, can you?  Hooray!

I was so brave!

Today was the annual health fair at DH's work.  We need to have our blood work done each year to get a break on the cost of our insurance.  I HATE needles (yep, I faint) and have very weak veins so it is usually quite the ordeal for them to fine a vein to tap into - thus increasing the misery for me!  So after pricking my right arm and not catching a vein, they finally got the job done on the left arm.  Here's my bruise to show for it.  And, I didn't even feel light headed today!  I feel so brave!

I can't wait for Fall!!

I had my eyes on these cute little pumpkins last year at Michaels but they were a little more than I wanted to spend on a seasonal decoration (though I LOVE Fall).  Today I saw them again and used a 40% off coupon and then got an additional 15% off!  Now, what to do with these cute little guys . . .

Needing to be relocated - shivers!

This industrious spider has been working away on his web and catching all sorts of tiny insects.  I have been watching him for a few days now.  Problem is, he is right outside our front door and his web makes our house look a bit neglected.  I think I'll move him later today to a nice plant far from the the front door!
